I was looking for a new base coat in Boots recently when I came across Sally Hansen's Double Duty Strengthening Base and Top Coat, which promises strong, shiny and chip - resistant nails. I am absolutely in love with this! Not only is it a 2 in 1 product but it has stopped my nail varnish chipping after just one or two days, which was the norm with my previous top coat.
The blurb on the packaging explains it works by using a "patented 2-in-1 formula. The base coat contains a Panthenol formula which smoothes the nail surface and helps grip the nail colour for longer wear. The top coat; Nylon and Pro - Vitamin B5 shields nails with a hard, shiny and chip resistant finish"
I can't recommend this enough and at €6.64 is a steal for a base and top coat!
